It means that you must check the browser console (open developer tools in your browser and select the “Console” tab). Have a look at the error details there.

I did discover this:
Well, I was able to open up that Javascript console but nothing there makes sense to me. I do see some errors. I’m not a programmer; none of those errors make them actionable items for me
Copy-pasting them might perhaps give others a clue.
I think the error means there’s nothing worth reading on the WaPo site
- Using the DEVONthink clip tool in the Safari toolbar, I am getting this error for this WaPo article.
So it appears to be an issue with the extension in Safari.
