What is this little dot next the encrypted symbol on one of my databases in Devonthink 3. (My Active Database). The databases are encrypted and synced via iCloud and they are all synced ?
It means there are unsynced changes in that database.
PS: Why are all your databases encrypted?

Thanks for that. I see that particular database is unsynced. I actually can’t sync it for some reason. If I sync all it doesn’t sync. If I right click on the database in sync settings and synchronise it doesn’t sync.
They are encrypted because they have financial, health data etc. Does if affect functionality being encrypted ?
Make sure you should use encrypted sync stores, too. Encrypted databases are synced in the clear.
Devonthink’s approach to encrypted databases is wise, in my opinion. They don’t reinvent cryptography and they don’t need to address encryption vulnerabilities because the databases aren’t encrypted, they are in sparse disk images whose encryption is supported in the OS, not in the app.

What is reported in Window > Log?
It said “failed verification please repair the database”. I repaired the database and it works now.
