Which version of markdown?

Which version of markdown or multimarkdown is DEVONthink using? I was told the iOS version uses multimarkdown.

The HTML header: metadata is the proper way to add in style sheets into DEVONthink if it was multimarkdown but does not work on the Desktop version but works on iOS.

On HTML convert or previewing, the tags are not encapsulated in

tags. The HTML files from the multimarkdown binary always output code blocks in the form of
On my Mac.

Just to say it – there are options for markdown editing on macOS – other apps – that are, and will always be, far more advanced than the basic editing in DEVONthink. Personally, I would never consider editing anything complex in DEVONthink’s markdown editor. It’s one-click and over to Sublime Text, save, and done.

Right, but DEVONthink is a viewer. I don’t care so much with editing as now DEVONthink will work as a document provider. Its viewing the markdown files and just every file is what makes DEVONthink amazing.

Thus the issue of which markdown as it displays differently with iOS and MAC.
