Widescreen layout for column view

this is a feature request:

in split view and three panes view, the widescreen option is available from the view menu, but not so in column view. however, i’m an excessive user in finder, so i’d like to use it in devonthink, too. as i’m mainly using dtpo for collecting and viewing pdfs, widescreen layout is much more usable, as i can see the whole page on the screen.

any possibility to see this implemented in a future update?

Since columns are presented horizontally, this would likely not be very useful as you couldn’t see the backtrack of the current location easily.

A future release will support this.

I don’t really agree, as it would be similar to the cirrent layout in finder, where you always see a quick preview on the right side – for pdfs it’s mostly too small, but it’s there …
