Wikilinks not displaying in preview mode

Using DEVONThink version 3.5.1, my auto wikilinks created in a .md note do not display in preview.

Please see the attached screenshot in side-by-side mode which shows links on the left, but no links on the preview. Should the links be shown on both sides? What do I need to do to make them display on both sides?

The current version of DEVONthink is 3.5.2. You should update your software.
