Wish List: Ability to hide Tags, Counts, unused Category Headers

  • Hide what “unused category headers”?

If we are not someone who employs tags, then hide any reference to tags throughout. No category headers, no mention of tags anywhere in the app.

Just like the Inbox of a database, the Tags group is a core component of DEVONthink and DEVONthink To Go so it cannot and will not be removed, nor will any tagging controls. The choice to use them - or not - is yours.

To clarify, the thought is to HIDE them, not remove.
The distraction is more prevalent on DTTG than desktop (easier to ignore on desktop).
ToGo, tags consumes so much wasted valuable space when it is not a function in use.
