Wish list: that DevonThink "store" reminders for later release if either DevonThink or the default email client is not active at the date/time of the reminder

If my testing is correct, a DevonThink reminder is lost if either the default mail app (apple mail in my case) or DevonThink is not active at the date/time of the reminders.
I would like the reminder to be sent the next time both DevonThink and the mail app are active.
Could I use a smart rule as a workaround ?
thank you

I’m not sure this change necessary given that already you can use one of the special scripts provided in DEVONthink. Menu → Scripts → Reminders.

Any of these work for you? I save such things to Things (my go-to to-do system). I usually use the “Share” button for that, though, as quicker. DEVONthink doesn’t seem to share to Reminders, though, far as I can tell.

Thank you for your reply. I will look into the reminders script which I was not aware of.

Excellent. Future reference for others: Use the Menu → Help → enter “Reminders”.
