xMenu and Sonoma - not copying snippets

I just got a Mac Studio 2023 with an M2 chip. It is running MacOS Sonoma 14.6. I downloaded XMenu and installed it and set all the settings to the same as I had on my other machine. I also went into the Privacy Settings and allowed xMenu to have full disk access. I restarted the computer.

The XMenu appears in the menu bar. I have a number of .rtf files in the snippets folder. The behavior in the past was anytime I clicked on the snippet, it copied what was in that file to the clipboard and then automatically copied it to the place my cursor was.

This was a great time saver for a lot of what I work on.

My new computer doesn’t automatically paste where my cursor is in an open document/program. It does copy from the files, but I wonder if there is something I need to do, to get the automatic pasting to work like it did before.

That behavior is controlled by the operating system. Check the System Settings > Privacy & Security > Automation > DEVONthink. If it’s not found, open a support ticket.
