1.2: Better Memory Use but Worse CPU Use?

With the 1.2 update, I’m seeing much lower memory use (around 280 MB, which is half of what it was before), but I’m seeing much more aggressive indexing (at least with Indexing set to Automatic) with CPU usage spikes that are keeping my fan blowing. :frowning: In fact, I’m almost thinking that it’s indexing over and over again. It just finished indexing 2 minutes ago, and it’s already going again.

The automatic setting is updating the index within 2-15 minutes after the last received notification from the OS that one of the indexed locations has been changed, in version 1.1 this didn’t work reliably due to a bug.
