We have already done so — in DEVONthink Pro 3. There won’t be an update that addresses this for DEVONthink 2 we’re afraid. After eleven years we have retired the version 2 product line 
So, to be clear: your reply means that DEVONthink Pro Office v2 (and I assume other DEVONthink v2 editions) will not work with macOS Catalina?
No, DEVONthink 2 will work just fine. Only the OCR component of DEVONthink Pro Office will no longer work as it’s 32 bit only.
