When I start DTP I get a panel to the left (contains globals, ‘Open databases’, etc) - what is it called? And how I set it to be hidden when I open a database?
It’s the sidebar, and can be hidden/shown with the ‘View>Show/Hide Sidebar’ command. Also, Beta 2 includes an icon to toggle its display in the Navigation section of the toolbar. If its hidden when you quit DTP, it should remain hidden when you launch it again.
