Add link curiosity

Hi Folks:

I’m working through some tinderbox documents from which I link to selections within various PDFs in DevonTHINK. When I click the selection link I then use ‘add link’ to paste a back reference to Tinderbox. The links inspector shows a link for every line in the selection. Selecting any of the links in the inspector highlights selection. Is there a way to add a link to a selection without adding redundant links?

Starting from tinderbox I click through on the DEVONthink link shown in the right panel:

I arrive in devonThink:

The selection link is intended to cover the entire highlighted portion but selection links don’t seem to carry across page boundaries ( this is a separate problem). I next select ‘add Link’ for the content on the first page ( 3 lines ). And I get 3 links:
