Add tag automatically when adding or importing a file

Hi all,

quick question regarding tagging: Is it possible to add a tag automatically when I import files to DTPO via ScanSnap?

No. But if you were scanning inside DEVONthink, you could add Tags as you scan.

Thank you, it would have been great to have such a functionality. Such like automatically adding tags in Gmail. Maybe that’s sth for one of the next DTPO versions?

One possible thing you can do is to scan to a folder on your local disk, then create a Hazel rule to automatically add the tag, import to DTPO and then delete original file.
