Hello, I’m new to the forums. I’m testing DT Pro 2.0 Beta (on Snow Leopard) and I’m learning to use it. I was able to add a Bookmark of a webpage, but in order to see the webpage, I must be connected to the internet. I would like to know if there’s a way to import the whole webpage, just like Scrivener does, in order to be able to read it even if I’m not on line.
I saw the “import website” option, and I like it, but I would like to import a single page as well, not the whole website.
There are included scripts (which you can use from the OS X script menu if it is enabled). Or bookmarklets from here: devon-technologies.com/download/extras.html
(these are meant to be dragged to the bookmark bar of Safari)
Good advice from acl - In addition, if you have a web page open in DTPO (say, by clicking a bookmark, or using the Web Browser template) you may save that page as a web archive from the contextual menu. CTRL-click or right click on the displayed page. There is also the possibility to customize the tool bar and add the icon that will capture pages as web archives.
Thank you both! Now I finally found the web archive button (I’m sorry, I just hadn’t figured out how it worked) and I added the bookmarklet to my browser.
