Adding Copy Item Link as Markdown on Mac

I have been using the markdown item link option on DTTG.

I have a simple request - can you modify the Action Drop Down on Mac, so that pressing Option Key changes Copy Item Link to Copy Item Link as Markdown ? That way the same feature is available on both platforms?

Copying an item link copies a Markdown-formatted link to the clipboard too. But not all third-party editors use Markdown on the clipboard. Which apps do you use?
