Adding Files in DT Pro to Documents

I need to work on tenders and proposals constantly. I have established DT databases with files and images commonly used in my documentations. If I am working on a Word or Pages document how do I insert a file that I have stored in DT? I cannot see how to do this using the ‘Insert’ menu in either word processor. Is there another way to accomplish this?

In Word 2011 - drag the .doc or .docx file from a DT document listing into the Word document you are working on. Word inserts the contents of the file.
