One reason I often go to the ChatGPT app rather than DEVONthink is because of memory. The ChatGPT app on the Mac remembers my past interactions with it and customizes responses with that context in mind. It knows where I work and what my job is. It knows my preferred format for answers and text.
Is there any way that I can achieve this capability in DEVONthink? Ideally, I’d like to be able to transfer all the ChatGPT memory about me to DEVONthink so that I can use it when interacting with ChatGPT or another AI through DEVONthink. I would also like it if DEVONthink could create its own memory store about me, which it would learn from by remembering interactions with me or through manual updates by me.
One possibility could be to store the complete context in a document, to select this document and to tell the chat assistant to use it accordingly. Or just enter the context (e.g. by using text expansions) in the first message in the assistant. However, a future release might support custom prompts to simplify this.
