AI skills says its done, but results don't happen

Hi … I’m getting inconsistent results using the AI chat feature.

I have a Claude pro license and have the API in my DEVONthink Pro Server settings.

I’ve got a skill within DEVONthink that reads a document and creates new document for each keyword in the keywords section.

DEVONthink reports that all the documents are created, and gives me a neat table with the name and UUID.

But–I can’t find those documents. They don’t display or come up in searches.

I’ve successfully used this skill several times, then it stopped working. I checked my Claude usage, and I have plenty of usage credits left.

Any ideas for what I should do?

The AI reports this, not DEVONthink. And AIs make mistakes and claim things which are not true. Does a toolbar search, e.g. created:today, find them? Which Claude model did you use?

Searching “created:today” does not show the documents; I’m using Claude Haiku 4.5.

Mysteriously, the prompt worked within DEVONthink several times successfully and then stopped.

Post a full resolution screen capture of this search, showing the Scope bar.

Making progress. Anthropic says “This API key is not scoped to a workspace, so this request must include the anthropic-workspace-id header with the ID of the workspace to use. Add the header, or use an API key that is scoped to a workspace.” I get this when I try to run a stored skill in DEVONthink with my Claude API key. Haven’t encountered this before, so working on it

Export the skill (.dtSkill file) and ZIP it in the Finder. In DEVONthink, hold the Option key and select Help > Report Bug and attach the file.
