I recently noticed that, whereas animated GIFs play automatically in the DT4 preview window, animated WEBPs do not. Instead, they show as only a still image. It works in OS 26.4 Finder’s preview window, but seemingly not in DT4. Maybe in a future version?
There’s no support for animated WEBP images yet. Noted.
