App/Browser→ Services→ Take Plain/Rich Note. Only Plain Text with no Links or images

Take Plain/Rich Note: Adds selected text to the global inbox as a plain or rich text note from any application that support services. Taking a rich text note also copies images and clickable links.

In different apps and Google Chrome → Services→ I only see Take Plain Note (no Rich Text option), and if I select text+image+link → a new note with text only (.txt) is created.

If I select an image and → Services → Append Plain Note, nothing happens (which makes sense because it is a .txt note)

I can’t see where is preferences, I can specify to always use RTF.

You’re not seeing that option because the applications aren’t reporting the type of information that would cause that option to be displayed. Try Safari.
