Apple Notes cannot share/clip to DT

Updated to Tahoe 26.0.1. Now, I cannot share/clip the Apple Notes to DT. There is no such option now. Do you guys face the same problem?

I have tried to reinstall the DT app. It didn’t fix the problem.

I never share apple notes to DT but will check it out next time I’m at my computer. However, you generally don’t want to jump right to a full reinstall of DT—or any app for that matter—when you run into this kind of issue.

I wonder if this is related to the problems some people have had with the Safari extension. I will check how it works on my MacBook soon.

Thanks for your advice. I was using the solution provided for the Safari Extension problem. Hoping that I will fix my problem.

I using Tahoe 26.0.1 and can share to DT from Apple Notes. But I also have no problems with the Safari extension at the moment. If the problems with the Safari extension resurfaces I will try to remember to also check if the sharing from Notes to DT is lost.

And now the Safari extension is gone and the sharing from Notes to DT is also lost. This is very confusing. Just to be clear the Safari extension was active after startup and a few minutes later it was gone.

Have you tried restarting Tahoe (like you would any common Windows PC) to see if you’ve recovered the lost functionality?

I just tried and was able to share a note to DT by changing the “collaborate” option to “copy.” Or one could also export as markdown or PDF. But as I said earlier, I never do this, so I am not certain if any of these methods are what you are trying to accomplish. Good luck.

Yes, I did. It didn’t help.

Thanks for trying out. Yes, I always use “copy”. I have been using it until I upgraded to Tahoe. Now the option to share a note to DT is not available.

After I download the app and replace the installed app with the downloaded one, the share to DT option came back. Hopefully, it will stay and not disappear again.

We don’t control it and we’re trying to determine if there’s anything we can do about it. Tahoe has many bugs in it and this is an inconsistent issue.
