If I clip a webpage that has a video to Devonthink, saving it as a web archive, does it save the video permanently even if the video page is removed at some point?
Videos are not added by the WebKit framework to web archives (especially as many websites prevent saving of embedded videos), therefore a web archive adds little value in this case compared to a bookmark. It’s better to download the video and add it on its own to the database.
I would if I could. These are class videos that I am taking, but the videos aren’t downloadable, even via screen recording. They black out as soon as I try.
How did you actually take these videos?
