I am in the process of trying to switch to DT for my meeting notes. Maybe this is obvious but can you add a file (pdf, .doc,.xls) to any sort of note in DT? Or does the file need to be added separately and a link added to the note. Have used apple notes and Evernote in the past where you could do that and it is nice because you can see the at least the file icon in the note and can open it there.
Files can be only attached to rich texts (RTFD), all other formats would require a link to the note. However, it’s definitely recommended to store files on their own as this has several advantages: The files can be easily viewed/edited (also with other applications) and are fully searchable (contrary to attachments).
