While entering notes for a research project DevonThink crashed (a rare event… but one that was ill timed). I lost a lot of important work. My Database backs up each hour but is there an auto save preference I can use to save my work as I enter text notes? I am so accustomed to having it in Scrivner and Word I forget to push command S.
There’s no such option yet but we will add one to an upcoming release.
I just found out that it doesn’t save in case of a crash (it crashed an hour ago due to the BluePhoneElite Import script, the first time it happened). Then I remembered that there was a freeware application called ForeverSave Light tool-forcesw.com/foreversave-lite/ - might be a temporary solution to the lacking auto-save feature.
