Automatic indexing

Jim analyzed my records and found that at some time I must have indexed iCloud. For that reason, I have too many repairs to do. I have 8700 items in my trash. 3/4th of them are trashed tags. The rest are files. I took out some of them. In any case, I am guessing that the automatic indexing of iCloud is no longer taking place. Although, I don’t know how to confirm that. Having reviewed my trash, I think that I can delete my trash and watch it to see that nothing odd is happening in the future. Is this true?

Tags can be deleted safely from the Trash.

Indexed groups or documents in the Trash could be deleted in the Finder if their name has a strikethrough. This indicates they’re the only instance if those items, i.e., there are no replicants in the database.

Thank you.
