Automatic tags creation

How can I prevent DT from automatically creating tags? It is very annoying that every time I move an element to the database, it creates countless tags.

By turning off the corresponding preference: there’s “Files/Import”, but there may be more. I’m sure it’s in the documentation.

DEVONthink doesn’t just create tags out of thin air. They are always derived from some source. What @chrillek mentioned is accurate but also, check out this blog post…
