I would like to distinguish between tags I assign myself (which are usually very relevant) vs tags automatically assigned from metadata when items are imported (which are less reliably relevant).
Is there any way to make this distinction manually?
Is the best workaround to pick a specific charcter - probably a hyphen - and begin manual tags with that character so they wind up alphabetized together in the tag list?
That might be a good workaround for autocompletion. Another possibility might be to use a different color for your own tags.
I use colouring to distinguish group-tags and tags and the method is effective. But I hope the colour of tags can be changed in batch mode for a selection in future versions or in Ver 3.n.
But your idea of separating auto- from manual- tags are interesting…
The next release will already support this.
