Automatically produce thumbnail for new documents?

I produced thumbnails for all the docs in my DT database. No thumbnail is produced for notes I create thereafter, however. Is there a way to activate automatic thumbnail generation?

Just enable thumbnails for “Other file types” in the Preferences > Media pane.

Thank you for the response. I tried this but to no avail: Thumbnails are still not produced automatically. I still need to right-click on the icon and press on Thumbnails>Create. Is it possible to avoid having to do this?

Right now this option does not support plain/rich text documents but we might add additional preferences if desired.
