Quick question: I want to avoid videos being found when I search; I keep getting them from pinterest, etc. I tried the NOT, using NOT video, but with no success. Does anyone know how to avoid finding videos in a search?

What are you referring to here?
When I do a search, such as : (Straits of Mackinac OR Mackinac Straits) and (fish) and (species or ecology)
it turns up a bunch of videos from places like Pinterest where people posted family vacations and nonsense like that. I want those to not show up in the search.

Yes, I don’t know how it got here. I would have sworn I selected the DA forum. I have a gazillion windows of all sorts open so I must have grabbed the wrong one. I apologize for that.
I would delete this thread if I knew how.

One possibility might be to exclude these sites completely, either in the preferences or only in the used search set.
