"Basic" user upgrading DT3 to DT4--where's my previous "stuff"?

(Mac, Sequoia, 15.7.1) I’m not a sophisticated DEVONthink user but everything opened just fine in DT3. I purchased the DT4 upgrade, installed as directed (I think) and I see some items in there but not two of the databases (I believe that’s what they’re called?). IOW, my “stuff” isn’t there and I’m lost even figuring out what to look for in the Support/Help area. I apologize for my ignorance in advance. Maybe I’ll finally learn this software and use it more efficiently in 2026… :smiley:

I have screenshots of both of the versions to “see” the difference, if that helps, since I’m likely not using the right naming…

Your databases aren’t part of the application. You need to open them just as you’d open a document in Pages. Start by looking in the Databases folder in your home directory. If they’re not there, do a Spotlight search for kind:database name:dtBase2.
