Best way to import some text with metadata?

I’m glad you’re interested!

I think my current plan is to:

  • Do a few days of Javascript basics
  • Write script chunks that will create markdown objects, assign custom metadata, etc
  • Write script chunks that will parse something from the clipboard into what I need to use the script chunks to create my DevonThink objects
  • Create an Apple Shortcut that runs R script that copies my data to clipboard, then uses Javascript to add it to DT

Then, and only then, can I sit on the couch with some herbal tea, my iPad and Apple Pencil and highlight and tag away like God intended.
