Bookmarks and easy open in Safari

Greetings,

I do see an easy way to quickly open a bookmark saved in DTTG in Safari.

Currently I need to open “3 dots” - Info - click on a link to open in safari.

Or alternatively, share menu - scroll down to find “Open URL”.

It seems to me that for files in DTTG which include a http link in metadata, it would be helpful to offer an little safari icon (similar to the one in metadata) in the main bottom of menu. IMHO, such button would be desirable especially for bookmarks which user typically wants to open in a browser.

This is subjective but the request is noted.

Our of curiosity - what do you do with those bookmarks if not open them from DTTG in eg safari ?

Browse them directly in DEVONthink To Go, just as I often do in DEVONthink on the Mac.
In fact, I am responding to you, on our forums, via a bookmark in a DEVONthink database. It’s a daily thing for me.

Interesting. The problem I found with that approach that often for whatever reason this webpage would not load directly in DTTG, in this case you need to open it in Safari.
