Building plugins without installing 2.4gb of applestuff

Is there a way to get the Property List Editor without installing 2.4GB of software?

I’m a noob: will something like SubEthaEdit work just as well?

One alternative might be PlistEdit Pro:

Or just use TextEdit, SubEthaEdit, TextWrangler etc. and save the XML files using UTF-8 encoding and the extension “.plist”. The disadvantage of using a text editor is of course that it’s quite easy to create syntax errors.

To open the included XML plugins, open the DEVONagent.app package and have a look at the Plugins folder and its .plist files.
