Can DEVONthink currently manage files in my cloud storage, even if the cloud storage is not synced to my local computer’s hard drive? The main reason is that the storage space available online is very large (30TB-50TB), while my computer’s hard drive is only 1TB, making it impossible to sync to my computer’s hard drive. I need DEVONthink to directly access my cloud storage to search and annotate files.
Indexing of cloud items requires at least temporarily (and ideally always) local copies. In case of a huge amount of data exceeding the available disk space the performance will therefore suffer.
