I have to agree. I’ve been misled a couple of times by lack of cues such as this.

And because they remove the useful stuff, like borders around buttons, from there UI, they have to add it to the ever increasing list of accessibility options.
With iOS 26, they’ve added a space at the bottom of Safari that is mostly empty (thus uselessly using up screen space). Only when I start scrolling, the navigation is displayed there. Why don’t they just display it all the time, if they reserve the space anyway?
