I tried a couple of things already, syncing via iCloud, syncing via Bonjour, and also now my preferred way syncing via WebDAV on my own NAS. But I can only reliably get the global inbox to sync & download the actual file. The other databases are also synced, but only in the global inbox I also have the actual files that I can look into in the Mobile app.
I’ve put the setting downloading files to demand and also to just download everything right away. But the option to download the file stays grayed out. Or when I have it on Download All of Them, sometimes I have this option to click on ‘Download File’, and then it blinks, but it doesn’t do anything. I tried to verify and repair all databases. I did a clean out on the WebDAV location as well. And it doesn’t seem to work somehow.
It is an indexed files database using Synology Drive as storage. Can the problem be that it is using this cloud free up space thing?
Update:
I guess I found my own answer. This cloud ‘free up space’ thing confuses DEVONthink. On OSX it works, but within DT To Go it thinks it’s an empty file.
Probably better to start indexing a connected Webdav location instead of Synology Cloud Drive.
