Can't get the sync to work on new installation

Hi, I’m new to DEVONthink. I installed it on my iMac and MacBook Pro. I can’t get the synch to work for the global inbox with my iCloud sync. It shows me the following message.

“Can’t create folder of database “Old Inbox”, path exists already”

I don’t really have much in the database so I can uninstall and reinstall on both machines if that will work. I’m just concerned that the same thing will happen again.

Any suggestions as to how I can get this issue resolved?

Did you successfully set up syncing on one machine and are seeing this message on the second?

I don’t believe so. I’ve tried both machines and the same message appears.

In DEVONthink’s Preferences > Sync on machine 1, Control-click the sync location and choose Clean Location.
Repeat on machine 2.

After the clean has been successfully reported in Window > Log, enable syncing again on machine 1, then machine 2.
