Cant open file in DT3

When I try to open a file I get the spinning beach ball for about 2 mins (and activity monitor reports 'DT3 not repond
ing). Then control is returned and the beacj ball disappears, but no file dialog ever appears.

Anyone have a clue?

“a file”? A bit more details might be helpful.

Works for me.

Looks like a standstill to me. And no chance to get anywhere with that kind of information.

What else coul I provide?

Screenshots? Version numbers? File name?

  • Where is the database located - the file path?
  • How large is the database?
  • Are you indexing files into it?
    • If so, from where?
