Let me first say, imho dt3 is making things wrong. I hate the new droplet, i hate the inboxes pulled together, i hate the new search that makes overview worse and most of all i can not protect my databases any more. once imported i can not find a way to lock it away.
what’s the solution here?
The old simple password protection is now only used by the synchronization (see File > Database Properties…), it’s recommended to use encrypted databases (see File > New Encrypted Database…) instead.
