I have a collection of groups at the top level of my database. I’d like to change the order in which these groups appear in list view. I can select the database and change the sort order, but the order of the groups never changes. I also can’t get the groups to be unsorted. It appears that the order of groups is always alphabetical. In contrast, I can easily change the sort order of documents within groups.
Am I missing something? Thanks.

You can choose View > Sort > Unsorted and organize as you see fit.
Thanks for your reply. I’ve selected the containing group and then clicked on View>Sort>Unsorted. But when I tree to reorganize groups within the containing group, they don’t move.
Is this how it’s supposed to work, or is this possibly a bug?
No, it’s not a bug.
You can’t sort a selected group. There is a sort for the current location, e.g., what is shown in the Path bar.
