Hi I get this message “Chat service not yet configured.“.
When looking at the setting the Chat has been configured. And the chat worked last week!?
Any suggestions why this happens?
Btw, restarting DEVONthink Pro does not work.

After using which feature? A screenshot of Settings > AI > Chat would be useful too.
You need an API key for most of the AI providers, normally you will need a paid account.
Google offers a free tier of their API plan. It’s very generous in terms of usage, with details being available here.
Just be aware that the free tier API requests may be used for training by Google. Not a huge issue if you are just summarising wikipedia articles, just keep that in mind if you are working with more personal data.
Thanks for the tips. Im using the free accounts and if DT support only API and paid account Ill go with Ollama,
I recommend you read the Getting Started > AI Explained section of the built-in Help and manual.
The API key is created via Google AI Studio? It says that in the European Economic Area (the European Union + some other countries?) the data isn’t used for product development. Not sure what that means. No training on the data? Most likely the data is used for targeted advertising though. (I’m looking for a cheap way to use the chat functionality to tag files 
)

Yes, I created my API key in Google AI Studio.
I don’t know about the privacy. I just wanted to play around with the Gemini models a little bit.
