Checksums and post-update syncing

I’ve updated DT on my main machine (A), and it’s plugging away at calculating checksums. I’m wondering now about syncing and updating on another machine (B) after A is done. Should I sync A with B before updating B? Should I update B (and have it calculate checksums on its own) before syncing it with A? Or does the order not matter?

Travis.

That’s a good question, and one I don’t have a definitive answer on. I would sync A to B befoe updating. @cgrunenberg could enlighten us some more, as needed.

The checksums are local ones (the sync uses its own checksum), the order doesn’t matter.
