I’ve been poking around in DT 4. When I try to use the Chrome Web Clipper, the extension always defaults to DT 3. Is there a way to get it to interact with DT 4? Or is an updated Web Clipper on the way?

Read this if you want to run the DEVONthink 4 Beta…
Firstly…
Optimally, DEVONthink 4 should be installed on a separate macOS user account in its own ~/Applications directory to isolate it from other user accounts.
However, if you want to run DEVONthink 4 and use it with your DEVONthink 3 databases, you need to make sure version 3 can’t be launched.
In the Finder, locate the DEVONthink 3 application.
Control-click it, and choose Compress…
After the ZIP file has been made, delete the DEVONthink…

I wrote Jim and asked the same thing: here is his reply to me regarding the Chrome “Clip to Devonthink” addon no longer working in Beta 1.
Me: I have not had the opportunity to read through the entire new User Manual for the beta version; this question has to do with it however.
Both the Chrome Bookmarklets and the Chrome based ‘Clip to DT” addons are still pointing to DT3. Since I have not removed DT3 that is fine, but am I missing something or are these not going to be operational until the …
