It is unstated in either the 4.4.1 release notes or the manual or Taking Control of Devonthink whether the new chronology feature runs locally. I have linked Ollama with DeepSeek but, for confidentiality reasons (I am a lawyer) cannot release confidential documents beyond my machine.
If it runs locally, it will be a Godsend for creating first draft chronologies and indexes.
