Claude 'extended thinking' as an option when using an Anthropic API key?

I’m interested in using Claude’s ‘extended thinking’ inside DT (with an already linked Anthropic API key).

I note one of the options in settings is marked “Usage”, and the manual offers an overview of what this means.

I’m wondering if/how extended thinking could be used? Is a Claude-specific setting appropriate? I’m conscious that this could eventually lead to excessively complicated Settings in DT to accommodate options for each LLM, but perhaps that is not a bad thing?

Keen for others’ thoughts, especially Jim and/or Christian.

Extended thinking is already used by the chat assistant.

Dang @cgrunenberg, no one wants you to be stressed. Take a 1-2 week sabbatical. I’m sure @BLUEFROG can take up the slack!
