Clean database on one of two Macs

I have DTPO 2.11.3 on two Macs, synchronized via a sigstore on Dropbox. To gain space on the SSD of the second Mac, I want to remove one of the databases there. Do I have to use the option “clean database” in Settings/Sync? Will the database in the sigstore be removed for the first Mac too?

Do I have to use the option “clean database” in Settings/Sync?

No. That has nothing to do with local databases, hence it’s in the Sync preferences. Clean Database cleans the sync data in a sync location.

Will the database in the sigstore be removed for the first Mac too?

Again, it does not remove local databases, so no.

To remove a database, select it and choose File > Delete Database. And yes, you’d have to do that on each machine.

Fortunately, I asked … Thanks a lot, Jim.

You’re very welcome
