I was wondering why the battery life on my 16-inch MacBook Pro was shorter than my old 13-inch… turns out that the DT clipper is activating the high-end GPU, forcing high-performance mode. In Activity Monitor, it’s the only app that says “Graphics Card - Yes”. It’d be great if this could be rectified to save my battery!

According to your previous screencap, it’s not so I’d say that’s a sporadic condition.
It’s there, just in a different column:
It’s still like that after an hour or so and hasn’t changed.
- What OS and version of DEVONthink are you running?
- Have you rebooted recently?
Recently rebooted, macOS 10.15.5, DT 3.5.1
This process is completely controlled by macOS.
