Cloudme.com — Login failed

I cannot comment on cloud.me. You indicated WebDAV failed, and that was what I thought with some details of the failures the WebDAV experts here could assist. I also was curious to see why you needed third-party internet syncing—not that you don’t, but if not needed then why do it? Oh well.

Do you use Little Snitch or anything else that might block DEVONthink’s network traffic?

No.
DEVONthink has full rights.
The data structure is created first, but then there is always the access problem when uploading data.
I have already reinstalled DT and also removed the CloudMe Sync and created it again…

This error…

…actually sounds like a (temporary?) network issue.

Then I’ll probably have to wait some more…

Just confirming the issue…

do you rule out a connection with a Seqoia update 15.X?

At this point, yes as I see it on my Ventura Mac as well.

I tested the WebDAV Sync with DTTG. CloudMe doesn’t work here either.

I’m guessing your configuration is correct. Have you reported the login error to couldme.com. Do they have comments/suggestions?

it’s about cloudme Webdav.
And with this provider I didn’t find a way to post a ticket :frowning:

Maybe it’s time to change.

Are there any recommendations for a working sync with WebDAV?

Does it work after reducing the number of connections (see Settings > Sync) to 1 or 2? CloudMe doesn’t seem to like multiple concurrent connections anymore. The next release will automatically throttle the requests in this case.

I use my own NAS (Synology) for that. Which might not be a viable option, I know. In former times, Deutsche Telekom offered free storage to their customer (25 GB, if I remember correctly) that could be accessed via WebDAV. That seems to be still available: WebDAV Zugriff erhalten - MagentaCLOUD FAQ | Telekom

Why is WebDAV a requirement for syncing? There’s still Bonjour, if you don’t need remote sync, and Dropbox. Or iCloud, if you can live with possible problems.

Testing this morning, I have CloudMe syncing from Max.Connections 1 through 16 now.

I am checking this on my Ventura Mac right now.

Thank you very much, @chrillek

Would icloud Sync and Bonjour work in parallel?
=> iCloud Sync for my Mac + DTTG’s,
as well as for the Mac + DTTG’s of another user in the same network.

iCloud only works with the same AppleID, ie all machines must use the same ID. Bonjour works for machines in the same network, regardless of AppleID. The question remains if you need remote sync, ie if someone modifies your data while they are away and you at home or you are away and they at home.

@chrillek
Remote synchronization would only be needed with me - therefore via iCloud.

For the other user, I would want to set up Bonjour on my Mac so that he can access his Mac + DTTG’s - on the same network as my Mac.

Would this work so cleanly?

Just retested:
