I have a suggestion for the next version (I don’t know if this has come up before. I did not find anything):
At present the preview pane is meaningless if you select multiple records (it just reads: multiple selection).
I would like to see a condensed view of the selected items instead: a list of name & thumbnail (in case of images or pdf) or name & first two or three paragraphs (in case of plain text/rtf). The later should be editable. This would look similar to the result when merging and would work like OmniOutliner when notes are displayed inline.
I think everyone using DTP as an outliner would benefit from such a view, when he or she needs to see more than just the name when working with several records.
