Since it isn’t possible to convert md to pdf with DTTG I do it by “printing” it into a pdf. However, with this step all links from the document are lost. Is there a way to preserve the links?

I’ve tried a few methods and didn’t find a way. I did take note, and have been doing this sort of conversion for years, the DEVONthink desktop version has this capability to retain the links.
Perhaps in iOS you can “share” to one of the other PDF utility tools available in the Apple Store.
